Products
Four applications. One platform.
XETEL is made up of four applications: administration, supervision, the agent workspace, and the API. Portal, Operations, and Workspace are fully included in the platform licence.
XETEL Portal
Customer administration — account, billing, numbers, users, SIP, and API keys.
Typical users: Commercial management, IT administration
The portal holds everything to do with the account: invoices and usage, the number inventory with state and health score, users and roles, SIP credentials, and API keys. Ordering a number, creating a user, or requesting a port all happen here.
- Account and user administration
- Billing, invoices, and number inventory
- SIP credentials and API keys
XETEL Operations
Supervisor and team management — live monitoring, queues, reports, and quality assurance.
Typical users: Team leads, supervisors, quality assurance
Operations is the view during the shift. The wallboard shows waiting calls, longest wait, and logged-in agents per queue. From here you listen, whisper, and barge; here you move agents between queues and score recorded calls against a scorecard.
- Live wallboard and queue control
- Listen, whisper, and barge
- Reports and quality assurance
XETEL Workspace
Agent desktop — browser softphone, call controls, status, and coaching cues.
Typical users: Sales and service agents
Workspace is the agent's seat. The softphone runs in the browser with nothing to install. It covers call control with hold, transfer, and conference, status management with reasons, and coaching cues from the team lead during the call.
- Browser softphone, nothing to install
- Call controls, hold, transfer, conference
- Status management and coaching cues
XETEL API
Public click-to-call API with documentation.
Typical users: Engineering and CRM administration
The API connects XETEL to the rest of your systems. Click-to-call from the CRM, webhooks for calls starting and ending, call-record retrieval for your data warehouse. It is the only one of the four applications without a user interface.
- Click-to-call from CRM and in-house tools
- Documented REST interface
- API keys and access management
XETEL Portal, XETEL Operations, and XETEL Workspace are included in the €29 per agent per month platform licence. Supervisor seats are not licensed separately.
In daily use
How the four applications fit together.
The split follows the role, not the feature. Nobody has to work through an interface built for somebody else's job.
Before the shift
Administration creates users in the portal, orders numbers, and checks the health of the inventory. Call flows and business hours are published here.
During the shift
Agents work in the workspace only. Team leads watch the queues in Operations and step in when a queue runs away from them.
After the shift
Calls are scored in Operations and reports are exported per campaign, queue, and agent. Usage and invoices sit in the portal.
In the background
The API keeps your CRM and data warehouse current without anyone opening an interface. Click-to-call, screen pop on ring, and activity logging run through it.
Access model
Who opens which application.
The four applications share one account and one user directory. Which application a user can open is decided by their role — not by an extra licence.
One user directory
Users are created once in the portal. Role, team, and extension apply across every application. A leaver is handled in one place.
Roles, not add-on licences
Administration, team lead, and agent are roles. A team lead who also takes calls does not need a second seat.
Separate addresses
Each application has its own address. Agents open the workspace only and never see billing data.
API keys in the portal
API keys are created, scoped, and revoked in the portal. What the API can reach follows the key's permissions.
Scope
What XETEL deliberately is not.
We would rather write down what the platform does not do than have you discover it mid-project.
Not a CRM
XETEL does not hold your customer record or your sales pipeline. Call data is written into your CRM through the API; the system of record stays there.
Not a data provider
We do not sell contact lists and do not supply call targets. Your audience and their consent are yours.
Not a predictive dialler
The platform offers click-to-call through the API and queues for inbound calls. Automated bulk dialling is not part of the product.
Not legal advice
We provide call records, recording, and retention settings. Assessment under § 7 UWG and the data-protection posture of your campaign remain your responsibility.
Capabilities in detail
Individual platform capabilities are described on their own pages.
